What do we do
From the initial concept to the last detail of the event we tell a story with a beginning and an end
The Story of Redera
Our history
In a corner of Cantabria, where the waves caress the coast and the wind whispers ancient secrets, is the home of REDERA.
Imagine the sound of the sea, the salty aroma that permeates the air, and the skillful hands of the netters, who with skill and passion intertwined each strand of the net. In that same place, more than five centuries ago, a tradition was born that is now intertwined with modernity in REDERA.
My roots go deep into this land, where my mother and my grandmother, with their hands seasoned by work and their hearts full of wisdom, transmitted to me the legacy of the neteras. Her art of weaving stories with each knot, of giving life to the networks that connected the oceans, was my spark of inspiration.
Thus, REDERA was born, a tribute to tradition, but also a bold leap into the future. Here, storytelling merges with live music, creating a unique sensory experience that transports viewers to distant worlds and deep emotions.
The name REDERA not only honors the tradition of the rederas of Cantabria, but also symbolizes the extension of our own networks towards new horizons. Just as fishing nets are thrown into the sea in search of catch, our lines extend towards the world, seeking to connect with the emotions, memories and dreams of those around us.
Each event, each performance is an opportunity to create connections, to weave new ties between people and cultures, like the neteras did with their nets at sea.
At REDERA, we don't just tell stories, we live them.
